Looking good - love the colors;) I find it harder and harder to decorate without CC as well. I mean the EA furniture is okay, but the clutter and decors in the game are so...meh.

thanks Wibs! and what about the pics, do you think I should make them look old? Or as normal? ot sure if I overdid it although my friend a non sims addict just told me, the picture of the bathroom reminds him of the grudge lol
EA should definately give us more clutter AND more pictures. Even if its in the same frame just let us change the freaking photo!!

The trick is not to make it look too photoshopped, subtle editing is the way to go. What program do you use? I use photoshop and picnic. I started out using this tutorial: http://shanq.net/photoshop-cs4-vintage-effect/ and I have tweaked it a little to my own liking. It's a good starting point though, and I think you can use if for other editing programs as well (a lot of the programs have the same effects and such). I like the effect on your photo, but it's a little dark (the last one). You might wanna do something with the lighting, especially since it's a comp.

Thanks for the tip Wibs, I'll check out that tutorial and see what I can make of it. Currently I only use picnik. I do have gimp but even after tutorials from my boyfriend - I open up the programme and get lost lol. I'm in agreement its a bit dark, especially as my friend said it reminded him of The Grudge!! Will play around with the pics after seeing the tutorial. Thanks again! <3
