ohh just wanted to add that the photos should all still be there, they might not show up at first I had to click on the frame view image, put picture in my bag then back in the frame?
Not sure about the photo's, will check that out in a minnie, but I did have a wee little encounter with some floating ojects, hehe a chair in mid air, will upload a picture and send a link.
Did you save with a cheat enabled like MOO or constrainfloorelevation? sometimes this will do that. Nothing to drastic, but thought I would let you know :)

I just downloaded the newly weds and, well, they are black :O I think the data package file (DBPF, which in technical terms is what a sims3pack is)has become corrupt (which can and does happen randomly)
omg I cant stop laughing that's so funny and random! What a great pic lol Err hmm yeh I probably did save with cheats on >.< I didnt know it could make things like that happen so thanks for letting me know <3 oh and btw I really like the house by the sea :D :D

Maybe you could find someone that could download them to check for you as well? Just to make sure that it is not my game doing these random things... They kind of look semi-creepy-cool. they are black as in in grim reaper kind of black and Kitty still has her bright red lippy ;)

OMG - Me luvs it! So glad to see the finished result, it's so retro and cool - rec'd and faved it :)
My 2 cents on the issues stated above:
- the black skin is often also caused if the sim has non default skin. That can be fixed by taking the sim to cas and change the skin, save it and delete the original.
- floating objects can be caused as stated if various cheats are enabled when uploading. But it can also be because the downloader doesn't have a certain surface with objects on. Like say a dining table, the game replaces that table with a default one, leaving some objects to float because the game doesn't know where to place them for some reason.
Just thought I'd mention that for future reference anyway ;)

About the sim issue.. YES I used a non default skin clearly wrongly assuming that it would be replaced by a EA skin. Hmm will the only way to get around this be to create two households? Would you mind downloading the new Defoes and seeing if they are ok?

Ah, yes, that seemed to be the problem of the floating objects... funny thing though, I own all store content yet the game replaced them. Silly thing... It's my game that done that, lol, ah well it gave me a giggle.
I've noticed the same. I downloaded a house and all the kitchen counters were replaced by basegame counters - even though I have the counters used. And today I noticed 3 items in the store list of my latest upload that I didn't even use in that build! 2 tables and a decor thingy, I'm baffled as to why they are on that list at all.
I downloaded the household and I will check them out later tonight hopefully. I never use non default skin for that reason, I just stick with default skin because I know that doesn't cause any issues.
I have just noticed in an upload of mine that the store items are listed at all... and the house is packed with store items. Bizarre :|
Wibs, thanks for the info. So I should probably infact definitely change to default skins and when I upload my sims to the exchange they will not be black and have ea skin?
About the items list, it's bizarre and have no idea why that would happen :/
You can still have non default skin in your game, but yes, I wouldn't use it on sims you upload. Default skin would just be replaced with EA or whatever skin the downloader uses without issues.
Yeah, that store list thing is quite unreliable.
